Ford recently unveiled the all-new Ka subcompact in Europe. Last month Ford's CEO told reporters that the automaker is re-thinking the idea of bringing the small car to the U.S.
Ford has made a commitment to small cars in the U.S. with its upcoming Fiesta and new Focus. The Ka is smaller than the Fiesta. Mulally recently told the Automotive News that the Ka might eventually be sold on our shores, but that Ford needs to figure out a way to make a profit on it.
